  • Final snapshot: Created on instance termination

Manual Snapshot​

aws rds create-db-snapshot \
  --db-instance-identifier statux-prod-rds-main \
  --db-snapshot-identifier statux-prod-backup-$(date +%Y%m%d)

Restore from Snapshot​

aws rds restore-db-instance-from-db-snapshot \
  --db-instance-identifier statux-prod-rds-restored \
  --db-snapshot-identifier <snapshot-id>

Then update Secrets Manager with new endpoint.
